Goodies Unboxing- June 2013

This is the first month that we have gotten Goodies.  :)  This is a fairly new subscription box of snacks.  I am **normally** not into snack boxes, but this one was only $4.00 to try through Mamasource.com (but it's no longer available).  So I went ahead and tried it.  :)  This company is backed by WalMart...  So you don't always get the healthiest snacks...  But they were yummy!  :)

The subscription is $7.00 a month.  Really not a bad deal for a box of snacks!  :)

(These were tasty.  I don't know if I would have bought them myself, but they were tasty.)

Pastitas Garlic Parmesan Pasta Chips- $2.99
(Rick is excited to try these.  His new favorite thing is garlic parmesan fries!  :)

                               (These are yummy!  Enough said!)

(I just couldn't do it!  I gave these to my sister...  She is braver than I!)

(Eli and I tried these...  Not the best shortbread cookies we have eaten.)

(I sent this off to my SIL...  She needs help sleeping!  And I was to scared to
actually use this when the babies still wake up in the night!)

Over all this box wasn't bad...  Only two things that I wouldn't use and I passed them on to people who will!  :)

Paid: $4.00 (Mamasource.com deal)
Value: $12.68  (Good value of snacks!)

Swaggable--- Hail Merry Salt and Pepper Sunflower Seeds Review

So I found another review site...  Swaggable!  Swaggable will send you samples of products that you indicate that you would like to try.  So far I have been chosen for 3 samplings...  This is the first one I received and I am excited that I get to try out new things!  :)

This is the sample of Hail Merry Salt and Pepper Sunflower Seeds.  They are (obviously) raw, vegan and gluten free.  :)  They were...  interesting!  lol.  At first taste, they were really good.  I love sunflower seeds and was excited to try these.  But...  The after taste was not so hot!  It was REALLY peppery...  So I guess if you like peppery things, you would really like these!

Over all, I won't be buying them again because they were to peppery for me.  But try them out...  You never know!  :)

Ipsy Glam Bag June 2013

I received my Ipsy Glam Bag for June...  This is a cool sub for women!  Who wouldn't love to get that hot pink mailer in your mail box???  So cute!  Plus for $10, you can't go wrong!  :)  If you even remotely LIKE make up, you should check Ipsy out!

Unfortunately for me, I am NOT a true make up girl at heart... So most of these products headed to my sister in law's house!  :)  She was excited!  lol.

First, I LOVED the actual bag!  So cute!  It is leopard print with a lime green zipper and inside lining!  I love it!

Starlooks Lip Pencil in Swade: $12.00  (SIL loved this!)
Chella Highlighter Pencil in Ivory Lace: $18.00 (I kept this one...  I want to try it out!)

Line-Fix Gel Eyeliner with Brush Built-In in Iron: $21.00 (SIL loved this one too.)

Sparkling Cream Palette in Volta: $4.49 (Again SIL loved this for date nights!)
NYX Blush in Tickled: $6.00 (Ended up keeping this...  Not sure I will use it though!)

Over all, it wasn't a bad bag...  It just wasn't a good bag for me!  I am going to try out next month and see what happens...

Paid: $10.00
Value: $61.49

Target Beauty Box Spring 2013

So....  Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE TARGET!  :)  So as soon as I saw on the Target Style Facebook page that they were offering a Beauty Box...  You know what I had to do!  ;)

The best part?  It was only $5.00!  How could anyone resist?!  Let alone a sub box addict?  :)  So I got it...  And waited a LOOOOOOONG 9 weeks for it to get here.  But it did!  And it was totally worth the $5.00!

Paid $5.00
Value $28.68!!  Totally worth it!  I love this razor (I already have one!) and the nail strips are cool too.  :)  I can't wait to try out the other products too!

Target had a survey to take when you got the box...  They asked all kinds of questions about what kind of boxes we would like to see!  It would be cool if Target got in on the whole sub box thing!  :)

Citrus Lane June 2013 Unboxing

Citrus Lane is here again!  :)  Eli gets CL every month...  He is 3.5 years old.  :)  This subscription is $25.00 a month, but we have a year long subscription so it is a little cheaper.  :)

Eli really looks forward to his CL box every month.  And he is always excited to see the yellow and brown box by the front door!  :)

Something new that CL is offering is an "add on" option.  This month we got the email to add on something from Episencial.  I choose to add on the Peaceful Bubbles for the boys.  :)

Now on to the box!  :)

These are the 4 items from the box this month...

Crocodile Creek drinking bottle: $11.99
Babo Botanicals Replenishing Bubble Bath and Wash: $14.95
Episencial Sunny Sunscreen: $6.94
Some random plastic beach toys...  Maybe $2.00?

Over all, Eli really liked this box.  There was some drama with CL over the sunscreen because the package is for a larger size and this 1.25 oz was a "Citrus Lane Exclusive".  The plastic beach toys were a bit disappointing for me...  But Eli likes them so it's ok!

Also, this box wasn't really "organized" like they normally are...  There was no card for discriptions or anything.  :(

We paid about $18.75 for the box
The value was $35.88, worth it for us.  :)

Some words to live by....

So I am starting to become ADDICTED to Pinterest (feel free to follow me here!)  And I am always looking for cute little quotes to live by.  :)

This came across my FB feed and I just loved it so much that I have to share it!  :)

Mightee Kids June box!

One of my FAVORITE boxes!  :)  We got our Mightee Kids box and LOVED it again!  I am all about sub boxes that have a tie to charity!

Mightee Kids sends out a tshirt each month and a portion of your box subscription goes towards that months charity.  The cost per month is $18.50 a month if you join the monthly sub plan.

This month the charity was Love Without Boundaries.  Love Without Boundaries helps orphaned children in China get medical treatment.

Eli wasn't feeling very photogenic...  But this is basically what the shirt looked like...

And this was a really sweet little addition to the box that I didn't notice last month...

I LOVE that this box is empowering kids to impact the world!  I think it's awesome!  The shirts are quality and the fact that they help kids in need makes this box all the more worthy to me!  :) :) :)

End of the year gifts and snack

So I am a little late...  But Eli's end of the school year party was 2 weeks ago and he was so excited!  At the end of the year, I always try to get each of the kids a little treat as well as the teachers.  :)

So this year each of the teachers got a collage of pictures from throughout the year and a little clip board for at the school.

Each of the kids got a piece of chalk with a little note that said, "I "chalk" this up to a great year! Love Eli"

And for the end of the year party, I made Super Hero Kababs!  Eli loves super heros, ham and cheese so I combined all 3!  :)

Over all, I think they were all a hit!  All the kabob's got eaten and the chalk went home with the kids.  The teachers loved the pictures and Eli had a great school year!  :)

BzzAgent Review for Dr Scholl's for her High Heel

I recently was choosen for a BzzAgent campaign!  They sent me a FREE pair of Dr Scholl's for her High Heel to try out!

I am NOT a real high heel wearer...  I have a lot of pain in my left foot all the time and when I wear heels it makes it worse.

But I do have a pair of 4 inch wedges that I LOVE!  So I am willing to try anything to make it easier to wear them!  :)

I put the Dr Scholl's in and off I went...  I noticed right away that there was less pain in my foot.  And by the end of the day...  THERE WAS NO PAIN AT ALL!  What a strange and wonderful feeling!  lol.  And to think that it was in a pair of 4 inch wedges?!?!

I highly recommend Dr Scholl's for her High Heel.  They made a HUGE difference in my heel experience and I think they might make a difference for you too!  Try them out and let me know how they feel!  :)
